F. Patrick Butler is a Professor at Franklin College in Lugano, Switzerland. He has taught at Georgetown University, the Universities of Stockholm, Innsbruck and Monterey Institute of Technology. He was a Fulbright Scholar at the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest, Romania and has lectured at numerous organizations including the former Leningrad International Management Institute. Dr. Butler has published for McGraw-Hill and Prentice Hall. He was a White House staff member for Vice-President Rockefeller, and served as a naval flight officer in the United States Navy. He has three daughters and six grandchildren. He lives in Lugano, Switzerland.
